Promised to help someone in a DV situation and then turned their back on them the next day. They left based on bridges assurance of help and now have extremely limited options and no support from Bridges. They should change their name because instead of helping people they become the bridge people jump off of. I'll never recommend this program to someone again and they should be ashamed for turning away people in their time of ultimate need. If you need help look somewhere else before these people talk you in to an impossible situation.

Seeking assistance to exit an abusive relationship proved challenging. Despite repeated promises of support, the supervisor deemed the situation unproductive and offered to transport me to a mental health facility. Each departure from their offices exacerbated my distress, reinforcing the notion that my abuse was deserved. The organization’s lack of efficacy was evident. Consideration of retraining may enhance empathy and foster positive change.

A guy friend of mine went in for help for domestic abuse. He had filed a domestic abuse restraining order against someone and he needed help and info with what to do next. They didn't do a thing to help him. He had all the evidence on his phone of the person admitting to the abuse. And they basically turned him away. Then funny enough he shows up for the hearing and there are the ladies he talked to at bridges defending the defendant. Probably because she was the women and no one believes the man. This place should be ashamed of themselves. It's not just women that are abused.
