Olivia Teabout rated 5 a year ago I stayed here about nine years ago and my stay saved my life !!! I was pregnant for the first time and I was lost 😞 these women helped me tremendously during my stay ! As far as the other comments they make these women prepare their selves to become women and mothers ! I loved every minute of my stay ! Ofcourse it had its ups and downs but what house wouldn’t with a house full of what 10 pregnant women ! Birth Haven is a great place they took us places we did everything a pregnant woman can do ! Don’t let these comments stir you away from a great oppurtunity.... go see for your self |
Jim Bob rated 5 3 years ago I currently live at birth haven, I came here in March and was welcomed with open arms. Their staff is kind and loving and help tremendously with any aspect of the residents life. Yes there are rules, like living in any home you have to clean up after yourselves, daily chores to live in a clean safe environment, get a job to support you and your baby (they help you learn to save your money, so if you are someone like me who loves to shop, at least you have money in the bank for when you complete the program), they have awesome life skills classes that teach you how to live a healthy life and be the best mom you can be, and plenty more.
This place has saved my life, and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If this place gets any hateful reviews it is from people that could not follow simple rules/suggestions and we’re non-compliant.
This place is teaching me that I am NOT alone, I WILL be a great mother to my son, and i WILL reach my goals in life.
Thank you birth haven 💕 |
James Allan rated 1 3 years ago This place is a prison not a shelter. They give these pregnant women tons of tasks to do or threaten them. They are allowed only 2 hours of time out of that prison house. Ariel is am absolute pathetic human who goes out of her way to harrass these girls within there 2 hour stint of freedom. She continues that harrassment on a constant basis. I called to speak with Tina another wet paper bag who continues to cover for arielle so it's clear they watch each others backs and not the welfare of these women. To say arielle has an ego would be an understatement she seems to get off on torturing and having power over vulnerable people. I called to complain about the way arielle treated my sister on a Friday. By Monday they threw my sister in the streets. This place should be shut down and arielle the maniac that she is should be fired immediately. Dont ever let a family member go there. |
Anonymous Anonymous rated 5 4 years ago I give this place 5 stars. I can honestly say that this place helps many women in need. They provide you with new baby stuff from everything you need to more. They are a clean place. They are also a non profit organization that doesnt need to open there doors to just anybody. They give opportunity to grow out of tough situations. Not everybody who comes through those doors apperciates that about this program. They are not racist they. Dont tolerate drug use and just require you to work or go to school asap. The 1 stars i can honestly say that those girl were kicked out because they weren’t complying with the rules. This place is not run like a boot camp you have your own space, your given new baby stuff and an opportunity to save as much money as possible. Its a completely voluntary place to be during your pregnancy. |
