I cannot express with words how helpful this organization was to me. I probably wouldn’t be alive today if my mom didn’t bring me here. I was so trapped and scared, and they stood by me and made me feel capable and empowered. They listened while I cried, and literally walked with me to the court house to get the restraining order processed. I just don’t know how to express how much this organization means to me. I survived because of them.

The women @ Artemis Center helped me very much over several years. Group therapy was so very helpful to me. I realized I was not alone. I realized his anger & abuse was not my fault. Knowing this gave me the strength to leave him & start a new independence life. Life if beautiful now, away from this excuse of a man.
