When I had no insurance I was around 11 weeks pregnant and stressed out and worried about it. I came here and was treated so kindly. I was given a scan and got to see my baby moving around which was nice too see as I was almost in my second trimester with no checkups. They helped me with insurance. Through my whole pregnancy Anne-Marie would message me each month to check in and see how everything was going. (Even now my 19 month old son called and she messaged straight away to check everything was OK).

A Heartfelt Thank You to Aid for Women I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to be part of America, where compassionate organizations like Aid for Women exist to support those in need. Even without insurance, I received exceptional care and guidance throughout my early pregnancy—completely free of charge. When my husband and I found out we were expecting, we were initially overwhelmed and worried about how to navigate the process without insurance. In search of help, I came across Aid for Women and booked an appointment over the phone with just my name, phone number, and date of birth. That call turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Upon arriving at the Aid for Women location in Wheeling, I was welcomed warmly by Kelly, who guided me through the paperwork and scheduled my first clinic appointment. She was kind, professional, and incredibly supportive. Shortly after, I met Nurse Joanne, who took the time to explain every step of the process, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt completely comfortable. The facility was impeccably clean, and the level of care exceeded my expectations. Joanne conducted a pregnancy test, confirmed the results, and then continued to ask about my medical history. When my husband joined the appointment, both Kelly and Joanne shared the news with him in such a thoughtful way. They didn’t just stop there—knowing that we were moving to Boston in two days, they went above and beyond to help us find a clinic near our new home and provided guidance on obtaining suitable insurance coverage. Since I was already over seven weeks pregnant, they made an extra effort to schedule an ultrasound for me at their Flossmoor location the very same day, as their Wheeling office didn’t have a sonographer at the time. Their dedication and kindness made us feel incredibly supported, safe, and valued. I cannot express enough gratitude to Joanne, Kelly, and the entire Aid for Women team. Their unwavering support for women and families in need is truly admirable. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care. Thank you, Aid for Women, for making such a profound difference in our lives! Regards! Noor

Since the day I found out I was pregnant until today that I finished the program, "Earn While You Learn," they were so kind and they helped me and were with me throughout the pregnancy process as a first-time mother, and the videos were very helpful in learning a lot of things. Every one there that I was able to talk to or share with were so sweet and were very attentive to my entire process. I would always recommend them without thinking twice.
