I was referred here by the Clark County YWCA back in January, and the people who took my call over the phone were very sweet and helpful. For a brief period of time, I was able to work with Racquel, who was super sweet and tried to answer any questions I had in a supportive yet honest manner. She wasn't able to provide too much especially since she is from another state from where I live, but I appreciate very much what this organization sets out to do and will refer them to anyone in need.

Highly support SARC and so thankful they were there for me and helped me through the recovery process. I had attempted to find a therapist on my own, however, to my surprise was unable to find a provider with the training to adequately assist me through recovery. SARC was able to help me with a trained therapist in EMDR. For any woman who needs help to work through a traumatic assault living in Washington County, I highly recommend contacting SARC as it is a service offered free of charge.

These are volunteers who drop their own busy lives just to be with victims at the hospital. They offer counseling, explain the legal process, accompany victims to court and call, check on and give useful referrals. The support they provide is above and beyond.
