I have tried therapy in years past with little to no results, until I found AHJCC. I have never had breakthrough like this before. I truly feel like something has lifted and I am on my way. I can honestly say had I not found AHJCC... I think I would still be struggling with the same old unresolved issues.

I have known Ms. Bridgeman and A Healing Journey Counseling & Consultation, LLC for over seven years. I am very familiar with the critical and professional mental health services they provide. As a Navy Combat Veteran, I have been diagnosed with combat related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I currently mentor other Veterans who suffer with PTSD mental health disorders. Ms. Bridgeman served in the United States Air Force. While serving in Germany, she played a key role in addressing the mental health conditions and counseling to U.S. Military Personal who experienced traumatic car bombing events at U.S. facilities. These traumatic bombings events were normally conducted in Germany, by what was then referred to as the "Red Brigade", and its affiliates. Additionally, Mr. Bridgeman is also a Vietnam Veteran. Ms. Bridgeman and her staff are the most dedicated and professional mental health experts I have ever encountered. She and her staff provide critical mental health services to Veterans, First Responders and Family Members, as well as the community at large. They are professionally thorough in every aspect of the mental health profession, and among the very best. It is very well documented that Veterans and First Responders experience a much higher suicide rate than the general civilian population. I know, as a matter of fact, that Ms. Bridgeman and her staff has greatly reduced my personal suicidal thoughts, due to service connected PTSD, through mental health education and coping skills. I learned to understand my "triggers" and how to deal and cope with them. I have been told by numerous Veterans that she and her staff has done the same for them. In know without any doubt that Ms. Bridgeman and her staff conducts themselves in a most caring, dedicated, and professional manner. Overall, they are "Impeccable", and have earned and deserve a "Five Star +++", rating in the mental health profession. I "Sincerely Thank Them All" for their professional, exceptional and dedicated mental health services. Last but not least, I thank Ms. and Mr. Bridgeman for their personal sacrifice and dedicated service to "Our Great Nation"! Very Respectfully, Gary S. Conley Major, Armor United States Army (Retired)

One of the hardest things was accepting that you need professional help. Mrs. Pam was so patient and kind to me. If it wasn't for A Healing Journey I know I would still be in a dark place. All while drowning deeper in depression. But I'm not thank God and of course Mrs. Pamela Bridgeman.
