New Hope is a fantastic place to confirm your pregnancy and do your first ultrasound! The staff was exceptionally caring, loving and professional. I was skeptical first but we had the best experience there. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable and take our fears. Thanks to everyone who supports this place and to the beautiful people who work there!

I had a situation very unique for New Hope. Three days earlier I had been to my OB for my 12 week appointment. They told me that my baby was measuring 8 weeks and they couldn’t find a heartbeat. But I wanted to get a second opinion and to see our baby one last time. My husband and I started researching different places where I could get an ultrasound. On May 2, My husband had contacted New Hope. We knew that New Hope was a crisis pregnancy center, but we were running out of options. It was actually lunchtime so most of the nurses were out for lunch, but one nurse answered my husband and she offered to slide us in for an ultrasound. After sending in some paperwork and proof of pregnancy they told us to come in a couple hours later. After we checked in we talked to the ultrasound tech for a few minutes, and she even prayed with us. Then, we went into the ultrasound room. Not long into the ultrasound I knew what was going on. She and her assistant were quiet as they worked on trying every possible angle. It was quite a long ultrasound, which I appreciate them being so thorough. At the end the tech asked me how was doing. I was doing well, considering, a simple eh was all I could really muster. She then explained what I already knew. She said she was hoping to have different news for us. She said the doctor would have to look over the ultrasound and she would call us back, but she said he was only going to confirm what she was telling us. No heartbeat and measuring 8 weeks and 2 days… when I should’ve been 13 weeks and 2 days. My husband asked if he could pray, I could tell the tech was touched by that. After that the tech walked out while we got our things together and talked a little. She walked in with a little gift bag and a baby blanket. Which nearly made both of us cry. She was so sweet. We walked out of there feeling “grateful” was the word I used. It wasn’t the answer we wanted, but we got a second opinion and we could go on to the next steps knowing we did everything we could do. It was such a good experience for such a hard situation, and I will forever be grateful. She even called us a week later to check up on us and see how we were doing. We cannot recommend New Hope enough! Thank you for being such a blessing to us during such a difficult time!

This is a wonderful organization, that has a 3 fold support system. 1. To assist mother and fathers facing an unplanned pregnancy with all information given so that they can make an informed decision. 2. To assist mothers and fathers with support and resources should they carry their child to term, to either parent or opt for adoption. 3. To assist post abortive mothers and fathers who have regretted their choice, with support groups and loving, non judgmental staff and peer counselors. Our community is very fortunate to have such caring, supportive and informative organization to assist with parents facing an unplanned pregnancy.
