My father needed help with a TPO and they did NOTHING to help. He was confused on an appointment time and because of that, they refused any help for him. My father is elderly and has had so many appointments after being confused, that he was unsure about what time. Instead of them being kind and compassionate, WHICH THEY SHOULD ALL BE TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, they were aggressive and absolutely rude. My dad has been beside himself after being assaulted and has been in a whirlwind since. Gabbie and Amanda are the snottiest "public service" people I have ever unfortunately had to bear witness to. They should be fired.

I left a DV relationship in 06/2021 and went to the Crisis Center. It ruined my life. I entered with gainful employment, a rental home & was up to date on all my car payments. I left with nothing but the car they are trying to locate for repossession. My daughter's are staying with my family but their home is too full for me. They are each having issues from not only losing their father in the situation via TPO but I can barely make it to them to spend any quality time. I can't hold down a job because I spend all day looking for somewhere to go for warmth or someone to help & honestly, I possibly have mental issues caused from the whole ordeal. We were kicked out of the shelter because I supposedly hadn't been there in 2 days. I was at work. I got home at 8pm with my girls and was told I had to leave and the majority of my belongings had been put in trash bags and thrown outside.. several things were stolen and no one would answer any of my questions. They refused to check the cameras or work with me at all. I have received no follow-up services. No one has checked on us or reached out to me at all. Then again, no one did that while I was there. I was refused financial help with gas to get to work when I got a job while there due to receiving too much already. The paper I saw said I had received nearly $1000 when I hadn't seen but a couple gas cards while looking for work and taking my daughter's back and forth to Chatsworth. I'm aware it is a privately funded operation but seems there should be a certain degree of responsibility if good Samaritans are donating to help the ones needing it. I have little hope left so I just pray someone will help me somewhere.
