APC is a phenomenal place! I referred one of my students there recently. She had been abandoned by her boyfriend and had no family around to help her, and she was due to deliver any minute. They made sure she got all the resources, guidance, and care that she needed. She and her baby are doing great now, thanks to the kindness and generosity of this wonderful place!

I find the services offered to be very kind and helpful. The women there are friendly and the building well kept. However, I went there once and left feeling like I did not belong.. I wanted to get some help without having to explain my beliefs or force myself to look into Christianity again just to receive help.. I have many valid reasons for not wanting to be a Christian. So, is this a conversion center or a pregnancy center for Christian women? Where do non-religious and women of other religions go for pregnancy help? I have not gone back since because I do not feel right about getting help there since I am not a Christian and do not want to waste their time.. :(
The only other pregnancy place I could find is all the way in Greenville and would be inconvenient to make the travels there, due to husband's work schedule and car troubles.. So unfortunately I feel like there is no place for me in this town now until I can find a physician.. I wish we had never moved to Anderson and stayed where we could get help without strings attached. Christianity is the dominant religion in this country with many denominations, missionaries, and resources, and so I feel that there are plenty of chances for people to learn about Christianity if they so choose. There are not as many free and low income pregnancy centers though, especially in small towns such as Anderson.. I understand that this is a Christ based center but truly hope they can help others regardless of what religion one follows or does not follow. Maybe leave Christian pamphlets around the center for those who do choose to learn more about it without having to be so direct? Otherwise some women may end up feeling uncomfortable, excluded, and go without help.. Hope everyone can try to understand.. Thanks for reading.

We dropped off some donations and received a tour - Great organization! Christ-Centered assistance for expectant and new moms. Anderson is blessed to have their services available.
