I can honestly say that while living at The Vale Square apartments located at 1116 Fruitvale Blvd unit 407 from August 2024 through August 2025 I have never felt so unsafe and this is why I moved out! I have reported multiple complaints and incidents that I had to leave my apartment due to staff and staff only! I had ( and everyone knows and these are documented instances) to live without a front door handle ( yes doorknob!! ) within the first two weeks because it was missing screws wasn’t attached right then my front door would not lock! They left me for seven months without my front door having locks!! I could go on and take this to an entirely new level of safety issues and how maintenance broke my personal property and how some staff didn’t speak English and how I was treated for that year but I’m going to bring up what I’m going to take YHA to court over!! Refund of deposit and over payment I paid on rent ! This is supposed to Safe Affordable Housing yet that’s not at all how it is and I moved out over two months ago and finally this afternoon spoke to accounting about me missing deposit and rent reimbursement!! She tells me not any explanation for for taking so and then says I will be receiving ( next week) $17 What the heck is wrong with this picture??? They are out of their minds and I lived there for 1 year left it clean in good standing and in better condition than I moved into it! So I will see you in court YHA along with my repeated complaints and discrimination will be proven along with witness statements from other people who knows what you had and still doing!! Thank you Lastly , you owe me $109. For rent overpayment and you mean to tell me out of $350. You think I should have 60 or $70 given back out of a $350. Because I paid over rent $109. On some ware and tier? I was there a year and any and everyone who knows me knows I always keep and exceptional house and it’s always left better than I moved into in! Walls doors and all stop robbing tenants!!! Today’s date is 9/24/2025 Please I will see you in court! Robbing housing and it’s lying mission!! You will not steal from me and my character! You owe me $459. Dollars Ms. George Update: oct 2025 I not only received my full amount of $459. But I received a letter stating that it was in no way admitting any wrongdoing! Looks that way to me!!!! Cashed that in!! 💯🗣️✍🏽 now YHA has made it into my book coming to a book store near you soon! Bad bad bad YHA forgot their mission!! Sad sad sad!

I wanted to share that Sonya in the office, was very helpful today. I was a bit frustrated with the AI "Jason" phone system and the ability to leave messages (not sure if I left messages). Sonya gets 4-stars for returning my call and helping me with some of my mom's information. She went above and beyond. Yakima Housing gets 3-stars due to the slowness of getting items like heating, hot water, and pest control done are very slow. Over all friendly staff.

First of all this supposed to be sold out to make sure people are doing the best they can to serve the community with clean and fair housing yet they never updated my information so now I fall short of being in my car been in my car for over 4 years trying to get housing or something I can afford I never met my caseworker Ashley I said something that's okay just to bypass speaking to me and she just talks comprehensive mental health and betraying the connections and comprehensive and the housing authority and there's no way that I can give them even the slightest release of responsibility when it comes get me off the streets and out of my car they are all falling short how about me men everyday to get put in motels and they're just waiting for their house come through so why am I still out here on the streets I don't know I'm not sure discriminating but I know discriminating has to be a part of that here I am waiting on paperwork for social security without who actually have a trespass can you believe me and trespassing social security oh my goodness no I mean I want to die in my car from the from this heat die all my food stamps are gone because I have to keep throwing my food out because it's it's spoils in the heat of the car are are the people that I take my food into to change your mind social security holding me up p I'm going to I want to see the social security and the other workers and Yakima answer up the state p negligence that's what I say salt lake country song on behalf of the State against its own washingtonians I'm in my fifties and I cannot believe I'm sitting in my car in this heat almostd dying call the reason why I'm here waiting for this housing is because it's the only one that doesn't have bugs crawling all over people nobody holds these people accountable nobody holds anybody accountable
