If you are a disabled person in Oklahoma looking for work, you NEED to do this program. They teach valuable skills that anyone can use to get you one step closer to the right job. The staff are friendly, kind and willing to help as long as you do your part and put the work in. I was very pleased to be treated like a person, rather than a number in a program, and I learned a lot from this experience. I haven't found the right job yet, but they have given me the right tools to do so. I am beyond grateful for this program and highly recommend it to everyone, especially those who are disabled. UPDATE: I've got a great new remote job that's a great fit so far. None of this would've been possible if it weren't for WRO!

Work Ready Oklahoma is a total waste of time. I attended thier course last year which consisted of 40 hours of hype on how to interview and create a resume. At the end of the course they provide you with a "professional" resume. The one I received was quite lame compared to the one I already prepared. Soon after the course my job hunt ceased as cancer attacked having kidney removed and chemo, etc. They still sent me texts once a month asking how my job hunt was going. I responded it was on pause due to my cancer battle. Now cancer free and seeking employment, I responded that I was resuming the hunt and they had me schedule a joblab. I had a 2 hour joblab scheduled with them today in hopes of finally utilizing their assistance in my job search. It lasted 5 minutes. The ladies at joblab told me I would have to go downtown and commit to repeating the same orientation course I did before, which is now 2 weeks long, before they could help me. Like I said, complete waste of time. 👎

Neurotypical program. It was not helpful for me at all. Plus, they taught us in an unheated room for hours at a time in the middle of winter. I ended up with pneumonia from it.
