This place is a joke... So about a year ago I was asked by the court to do supervised visitations at this place with my 3-year-old daughter at the time. I was read the rules at the beginning and follow the rules to a t... One day I was visiting my daughter on Saturday and her hair was grown past her mouth and when she was eating food her hair will get caught in her teeth so I cut a little bit of her hair off on the front and they kicked me out and I haven't seen my daughter in over 8 months now because of that 1 in fraction that isn't even in the rules I get kicked out over they make up their own rules here! But it's the only free supervised visitations place I tried apologizing to the lady told her I did not know that it was against the rules to snip a little bit of my daughter's hair off and she said that I'm not allowed on the property! God honest truth about everything I just said

If you’re looking for healing, safety, or basic human decency look somewhere else. I came to this shelter in genuine crisis, with my child, seeking refuge. Instead, I was retraumatized, humiliated, ignored, and ultimately punished for advocating for myself. No one checked on us after we left barefoot in emergency distress. My calls for help were ignored, voicemails never returned. Staff retaliated after I filed a grievance. I was left without my prescribed medication for over 24 hours. This isn’t a shelter. It’s a stage. And the women in crisis? Just props. They post big words like “empowerment” and “safety,” but what I experienced was emotional voyeurism, control, and negligence disguised as care. It felt more like a performance for donors than a safe space for survivors. This place receives hundreds of thousands in public and private funding. That’s taxpayer money. That’s federal grant money. That’s our pain being turned into their paycheck — while real women and children are left to pick up the pieces. If you’re reading this and something similar happened to you here, know this: You’re not crazy. You were conditioned to stay silent. And you don’t owe that anymore.

This place is so amazing. When I needed help all the women were there to help me. God please bless this place with overflow of abundance financially and with supplies that they need for themselves in the office and for the women and children there. I want to give a huge shout out to all the women in there y’all are amazing and you’re full of grace patience and I want to say thank you all. I know it might be tough and hard at this moment in time but this too shall pass and God will give an over flow of finance to help for every thing you need and even the wants.
