More of a homeless shelter than a DV shelter. The only "resources" they "helped" with were months (or years) old fliers on the walls that were irrelevant and/or obsolete. Asking staff was not helpful, they just sent you in circles. Or they literally said "um, we're not really trained for that". So what are you trained on? They once had a group where we traded resources with each other, like we didn't spend all day every day trying to help each other already. Staff were also combative, argumentative, and played favorites. Every staff follows different rules, they seem to change day to day. One staff actually implied IN GROUP TO MY FACE that I was "weak". After filling out numerous complaint forms I was basically pushed out the door. I was in therapy, seeing a psychiatrist, did all these assessments, was on 8 different public housing wait-list, I don't know what else I possibly could've done to appease them. Also, the meals they provide are portioned for elementary school age children, so if you don't have EBT supplementing, you will be hungry. (Also borderline inedible, tbh.) And DO NOT get your mail forwarded to their PO box like they suggest, it is near impossible to get your mail from them and you will have to talk to the post master directly to get your mail forwarded anywhere else after you leave, which they do not tell you. Also, neither the "info" email or "hr" email are real. Both came back to my email as "non-existent". So don't bother that route. Honestly, the only good thing that came from my time there was...a break? Until the fighting and stealing started. Which staff also didn't really do much about. To be fair, there were...maybe 4 or 5 staff members that cared and were fantastic. Two quit during my stay there. And that does not surprise me one bit. Only come here if you truly have no other choice, and try as hard as you can to get out ASAP. And be prepared to do absolutely everything on your own. Also, the centipede issue is legit, the pics don't lie.

This is the LAST place you want to go if you are in a DV situation! It feels and looks like a prison. Food is absolutely inedible! Staff are rude and condescending. If you file a grievance, they will absolutely retaliate against you and be prepared to get kicked out! Bathroom was full of visible mold to which they did nothing about. HORRIBLE place with HORRIBLE staff that treat you HORRIBLY!!

Scheduled meals helped with my job schedule so i had consistently along with shower times and staff are very helpful with getting you connected to resources and you can have a job! They just want to be updated about your schedule and if youre coming home late they dont want people going out past 10pm due to safety reasons :) i can't thank them enough for getting me out of homelessness because i was escaping my ex. Please, this place is not as bad as it looks like in the comments. They helped get me cash and food assistance and i could even receive mail from the county because they allowed me putting them as a mailing address 💕 the rules they enforce are for a good reason they arent there just because. Staff are willing to help you out as long as you show youre continuing to work on your life:) they even helped me graduate school!
