Took 5 months but they helped me get my SS card, Birth Certificate, copy of my Marriage License and took me and paid for my ID. And promised to pay my reinstatement fee when I'm ready to get my DL again. These people have given me a chance to get off the streets and start over and hope for a better future!! Thank you DRC aka the Flag Building!!

Be prepared to be treated like an animal. From start to finish this is what's wrong with America. They help you, because they are paid to help. There are some good folks in the midst of people who have lost all sense of humanity. Your time will be certainly wasted. When you arrive, you'll have to stand outside (in the heat, rain, snow) They will yell at you. I stood and watched them yell at a blind man for asking for help. He had been standing in the heat for about an hour. Mostly men were in line. The people were grouped up on the ramp, and the women were being berated by a variety of men. The workers degrade or yell at you. Almost everyone had an appointment, but were forced to wait because whoever they had an appointment with must have forgotten. You're told to claim some sort of mental illness so that you can get assistance. You're also told to use every resource regardless of if you actually need that resource. The person who helps with IDs seems very unstable and abusive to her staff and the people who come in. They are extraordinarily disorganized and expect the homeless/abused people to know their process. If you miss a step (which they wont tell you what the process is) you fall back into oblivion. The people who manage to get help from this place are very strong or medicated. I would never support any of these organizations again. It should be called when we get paid to help.
