I’m resharing my friends post on here about this place Good Morning, I know a lot of questions are being asked, mainly, why was Gabrielle in Dallas, Ga when her family is in McIntosh and Brunswick. I don’t put a lot of my business on Facebook especially when it comes to my children. Those that are close know everything that I’ve been going through with Gab. Gabrielle was at Wellspring Living facility in Dallas, Ga. It is a rehabilitation center for at risk youth. Gabrielle is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, adhd, and odd. I received a call from someone at the department of juvenile justice last week informing me that Gabrielle was acting out and being aggressive. Gabrielle is not a fighter- she has never been in a physical fight aside from normal sibling fights between her and Taylor. When I spoke with her Wednesday and asked her what was going on, she told me that she has bruises ans scratches all over her and that the staff was abusing her. She said that as long as the staff is abusing her then she would NOT stop acting out and that she will fight every last person that tries to harm her. There was a staff member present during that phone call that I spoke with and she confirmed that Gabrielle did indeed have those marks on her and to request to have the cameras pulled. I immediately reached out to the department of juvenile justice and told them to request an investigation and have photos taken of Gabby holding a piece of paper with her name and current date to verify that these are current photos of her. On Friday I was told that an investigation is going on. On Sunday around 11 am, I received a call from DJJ informing me that Gabby “ran away” with 2 other girls from the facility. I was told that around 7:30 pm her and 2 other girls from the facility escaped. I asked how were they able to escape. They stated that there was a fight in the facility earlier that MORNING that Gabby was NOT involved in and one of the staff members security cards were taken. I was told that they chased them as they were escaping and the chase involved vehicles. The director said that the police got involved and chased the girls who ran into the woods but they got away. Nothing about that story sits right with me. I’ve talked to detectives, directors, and everyone is very nonchalant. No fliers or news coverage has been made about 3 missing girls. I work in healthcare and know that because of HIPAA, I can not be given the information of the other girls or their parents but I did give the director of the facility permission to give the parents my information and his response was “Oh we don’t do that here.” I am having to take things into my own hands because regardless of whatever, my 16 year old daughter was in their care and is now missing with not a single trace. All of her clothes and personal belongings are still there. She did not leave with any money or a phone. She is not from that area nor is she familiar with them. She has only been there for 30 days. Please continue to share her pictures and hopefully someone with a kind heart will lay eyes on my daughter and not take advantage of her and help bring her back to safety.

I hate to write this but given my experience in 2016 when I graduated from the Hire Hope program under the guidance of Crystal Crowley and April Kelley and a few more individuals whose names I sadly can’t recall at this moment but just know they were all PHENOMENAL (don’t know if either are still apart of the organization now) I know this organization is capable of better. I had a situation going on near the end of 2023, and it got so bad I remembered that this program has the resources to assist. So I reached out to one of the program coordinators Ms. Layota Rembert who initially was helpful but lacks follow through as well as good communication. If I could include all timelines and screenshots I would but let’s just say the reaching out became one sided towards the end of Nov of 2023. Before this I last reached out on 11/20/2023 in which I got no answer or response. That call was to follow up on her telling me she would reach out to the residential program coordinator on my behalf. I ended up reaching back out today to see what response she would have to not following up in which the conversation took a turn. Today this individual made me feel like I was asking for a hand out by trying to imply that I wanted to attend the program due to and I quote “needing a place to stay” in which I corrected her by letting her know that as we previously discussed I had graduated from Hire Hope and learned that there was a residential program for young adults who were in similar situations that assisted in financial literacy, mental health, etc. while giving the individual time to work through their issues. I am writing this review hoping someone above this individual will consider looking into this. Given what this program stands for there should be no reason an individual who is REACHING OUT FOR HELP should be made to feel as though their situation doesn’t matter and that is EXACTLY how Ms. Rembert has made me feel. PLEASE DO BETTER ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE MENTAL STATE OF INDIVIDUALS GOING THROUGH THESE THINGS. Thank you.
