Just stay with your abuser. You will literally get further than wasting time and energy with this organization. FYI...this is this region's organization for the state of Nebraska sexual/dv assault, etc and they will do nothing more than RUSH you in "interviews" (they have much better things to do than to listen to you vent about your abuse/trauma), begrudgingly offer you a nominal fuel gift (we have no funding), offer you water in a dirty glass, assist with completing paperwork for your restraining order and offer to accompany you in court (good luck meeting the advocate for more than 5mins prior to court) and provide hygiene supplies. The crisis line is another waste of time. You call them, they'll tell you someone will call you back and your abuser will call you before they will. Try to coordinate services so you can streamline your exit strategy from your abuser...yeah, right! But, go there. At any time they will be corralled in the kitchen basking in a luncheon or other treats. These places are extremely weird. They clearly are spending more money entertaining themselves than helping victims. I had financial assistance promised but it had to be disbursed through an agency such as VOH. I engaged with them over 2 months before I eventually had a crisis line worker tell me she didn't know what I was talking about; who/what the funding agency was (a state agency with victim and crime in the name). I was clearly bothering her asking her agency to facilitate my receiving financial support without them getting their cut. After a 20mim call, she then told me she would contact the agency. How? You were unaware of who they were 5mins ago despite my asking you to contact her (the agency employee's request). The entire process was disrespectful and tactless and abusive. I lost everything, am still sleeping in my car and struggling with the most basic of human needs of survival. This agency is a mirror of MOST of these agencies. They DO NOT HELP you, they help themselves using you as the bait to the government and other funding agencies. I'd honestly advise you to take your chance with your abuser. You'll get nothing but a loooooong trip with them and piece-meal, faux support. But, I suppose you can report them, right? To whom, where, and what do you actually think is goong to happen as a result of said report? Haha....
Continue to pick your poison. This will prove to not be a viable option. You DO NOT MATTER and never will, stop being naive!

I guess it depends on who you speak with the lady I talked to last night was very helpful and encouraging she made me feel like we would figure it out I just needed to get there safely. I made it this morning with my daughter and the lady I met with was dismissive and condescending. She didn’t seem to really understand why a mission isn’t dash hiding for someone fleeing violence. There were no DV resources offered.
