Anytime Ive gone to donate things for the ladies and children it seems like you're annoying the staff. They won't help load up the little cart which also seems to bother them to bring out. Fire everyone and hire new people.

This place is abhorrent. The level of disrespect and rudeness is unreal. Staff seems to take joy in making you feel worthless and powerless. And God forbid you even attempt to question their methods or demands; they will punish you and make your life a living hell. You can't ask for things, even though they are donated for us, because they act as if it is coming out of their own pockets. A coat? No. They will make you wait until they feel like it. Even if you have to go out and walk in the cold. They kick you out at 7am every morning. Regardless of your age or physical condition. Ladies that are in no condition to be out in the elements, let alone walking unassisted, are sent out regardless and often times scolded for waiting on a bench nearby. Not just verbally, they will put you to sleep on the floor just because of any reason they choose to come up with. The best way to explain it, is like being in an abusive relationship. You cannot question them. But you also have no way out because there is nowhere else to go. It's so sad because most women are there to escape an abusive relationship in the first place, yet they are traumatized once more by putting up with this type of behavior. Hidden under the guise of "Christian Charity". Even some staff that were once clients seeking shelter, now abuse their power and treat you worse. It's so sad to have to be punished in such a way. I feel so bad for these women, especially the children and elderly who are innocent and helpless. I could write a book if I told the stories of what I've seen and heard. This place needs to be investigated thoroughly.

I was here in 2022. They don't look at you like you are a person. They are apparently connected to the City of Light shelter in Boise. So if you stay in one you are banned from the other. And they won't tell you that until it happens. They only care about shoving God down your throat. I told them my first night that I had a migraine and just needed to shower and sleep for the night. Instead they gave me earplugs and threatened to throw me out. Then it was over an hour of three men and a drum set screeching about jesus. How are you supposed to make me love Jesus if Jesus does not care about my emotional/physical wellbeing or my migraine. You want people to be religious but you actively push them away from it. They refuse to let you have your cell phone. They take it from you.
