This service is great if you want to understand what you most likely already understand.
These are paralegals, or similar that explain your options to you. My experience was a bit frustrating as she did not speak fluent English and did not seem to listen very well, then repeated irrelevant already shared information tk me that was not of importance the first time she shared it with me.

This was a major waste of time for me. They did not even talk to me about my case over the phone. Utah Legal Services is not available to protect the lower class. The money comes from the local government. This is one of those non-profit shell companies that participate in “legal” money laundering. Best of luck!

Terrible. And time-consuming. Once I was screened and actually made it through to an advisor, she sounded like she worked for the plaintiff and not the defendant. In other words working for the people who are suing. I just had a general question that I knew the law to and she almost yelled at me telling me that I was wrong. Maybe it was just this one attorney advisor, maybe she was just having a bad day, I don't know because I never called back.

I was treated very badly by an employee of chevron in fact I was discriminated against by this man. So I called utah legal services to get help with this very serious matter and was told they would not help me. I am a disabled senior and really need the help. It just tells me that the very urgent matters that we have to deal with in this life go unheard and brushed under whatever rug is closer to that issue
Very sad!!

Horrible advice. I was seeking legal advice not personal advice as I had to deal with a very difficult landlord and she attorney basically told me to pay the fee to make my landlord happy. I wanted facts and the law so that I can fight back with truth and also let my landlord know that I will not back down. I ended up throwing facts and the law at him and he surprisingly admitted he was wrong. I'll never use ULS again. Horrible experience.
