I came here for the first time a couple of months ago and I loved it, the prices were fair. Now they are nuts! You can still find some things here for an ok price but idk, I keep coming back to try it again but today I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a set of plates for $300. The last couple of times I’ve come, I’ve left empty handed. They have a decent selection of new clothes that might be worth it and their book section is decent.

I've had the pleasure of volunteering at the URM with my son for many years now and I can honestly say that the volunteers department makes it such an enjoyable experience to give back to our community. The manager Jeannifer Kavanaugh is always very helpful, organized and you can really see how dedicated she is to helping people and making a difference in the world. She makes all the volunteers feel welcomed and really makes you understand how important you being there really is. My son and I look forward to many more opportunities to help.

The nerve of some person leaving a review saying the others are fake. Everyone has a different experience. Good for you that you had a great experience, but saying that people are on the streets because they want to be is next level ignorant, and that's me being nice. Yes some people are on drugs and don't want to stop using, but I know some that aren't. They are everyday people that got evicted because a spouse died, or they had a medical condition that prevented them from working. Also, the rent is too high! You speak as if getting a bed in any of these shelters is easy. Did it ever occur to you that some people are homeless because there is no space at these shelters? Also, some shelters only take you in if you have a referral. Not everyone is mentally capable to navigate their life to get a referral. I suggest you leave a review that states YOUR experience at the shelter and doesn't judge others.
