The Women's Safe House

I spoke on the phone with Alice regarding my situation. She made me feel so seen and heard. Her kindness and patience listening to me talk about the recent stressors in my life has left me feeling like I can resolve certain problems with confidence. She really made me feel safe in a difficult time.

I’ve been calling and playing phone tag for weeks. And when I finally recieved a CB I was at work and let them know the time that I would be available and never recieved another call. I’m not sure how else to reach out and get help for my child but this has been exhausting trying to reach anyone.

A few years ago I followed my therapist here and they were great but then when they switched to another company I got put back on the wait list and it took so long to see another one that I mentally declined and stopped seeking help. I really fell between the cracks for like a year because of how they handled me. I shouldn't have had an interruption in the services I needed and had started.
