People search out support when they're in states of need. Reaching out for help to center's like this takes a large amount of bravery. Today, I took off work and showed up for my first appointment only to learn that my appointment was never booked. The therapist wasnt there. There was no one to meet me at the front desk. I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour before finally asking what the plan was. There was no offer of support or apology. I was told to continue filling out forms and to schedule another appointment. I pointed out the obvious fact that the needed trust between the center and me was broken. I am devastated to have allowed myself to be vulnerable and to reach out to help to the women's center only to have them break that trust so quickly and devastatingly. It goes without saying I will not ever return nor recommend services here.

The therapist I saw was not that good. She was cold, judgmental and checked her phone, watch and the phone every ten minutes. She cancelled two appointments out of five total, and I felt like she was giving me advice before trying to really hear me. There was a long line of young women sitting in the waiting area when I came out most times... I felt like they were trying to maximize their payments from insurance companies to be honest. I switched to another one and the care I am receiving is a million times better.
