I understand supporting people that are in domestic violence situations. But I got served a pfa from someone coming on my property. That wasn't welcome and I told them multiple times not to come to my property and I got served the PFA. Lucky it was dropped and no charges were placed. But yall are definitely a joke.

The people who work here are not trained enough to be doing the jobs they are hired to do. They lack education and experience and are incredibly rude. They turn people away for help who desperately need it. This program needs to be revamped, until then, they are, and will continue to be, part of the problem. Updated to add that I have since spoke with someone who said she spoke more from experience than education from this location and was gaslit heavily and promised a phone call back. The phone call never came. When I called back for an update, another employee did the same exact thing and I was treated badly. I hope they can change things around in the future.

Wouldn’t necessarily recommend them. I felt lost and unseen during the whole pfa protection process. Many promises were made that weren’t met. Their legal advocate down played my desire for safety and I didn’t get the safety I was looking for. If you are looking for assistance Beyond Violence in Berwick is 10/10 and will help with every one of your needs. They gave me food, security, and therapy assistance and helped me set up a budget to on set my future finances.
