The Wellspring and in particular, the upper management are INCREDIBLE. After relocating from across the country they helped me and my daughters escape a dangerous situation and ensured we are becoming self sufficient. THANK YOU LADIES

How do you not have help for single women with no children??? That’s insane! I guess if you don’t have kids they could care less if you get evicted and become homeless. Which is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME! Thanks for nothing!

If I could give this place a zero then I would. I am a 36 yr old disabled woman. My mother and I have always lived together to help each other out. We are both disabled, chronically ill, and sick. We both have a tough case of autoimmune disease and take oral chemo for it. My mom has hypothyroidism, and I have epilepsy/multiple seizure disorders, among others. Those are just a small example of what we suffer with. Mom and I came to Wellspring back in December of 2024. We desperately tried to apply for help with housing and we were immediately turned down. The man told us to try all the housing authorities first, or basically anywhere but Wellspring. (Which we already had by that time.) My mom and I, had just lost the house my grandfather bought for me before he passed to make sure I would have a home when he was gone. He knew I was sick with no one to help look after me. Needless to say, the man at Wellsprings had no excuses to literally walk us right back out out the front door and basically be like, "too bad, so sorry." The "excuses" he gave us for not being able to help us with housing was bc, 1.) They were low on government funding and at this time that was not true. 2.) They were only accepting veterans and/or single mothers. 3.) He noticed both of my last names and made the statement that I should have family that would likely help us. We have been living in my tiny car, going without so much, me having seizures and both of us being sick as a dog. This place only accepts certain criteria. We ALL MATTER. They wouldn't even do any paperwork or do an assessment. We have tried the shelters/missionaries, but they said bc of my epilepsy, I am a liability, and couldn't stay at the shelter unless I was completely stable." which my health is not. They can do more, and they can accept the disabled.
