The Rock Church Food Distribution Center

I have been in church my entire life and attended many churches of different denominations and have never experienced such hospitality, care for the community, and reverence for God as I do at The Rock. The house of God is truly taken care of and the Spirit of God leads everything they do. The church and Pastors truly love people to life, which is the mission of the church. Thank you, Rock Church, for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you to all the Pastors for equipping us with biblical truth every service. You are so appreciated!

I’m not a member of this church but I’m the cousin in law of one of the pastors who led my grandmas funeral service not too long ago. I was very close with my grandmother and prepared a beautiful eulogy, one that I hoped speaking aloud would help heal some part of me. And I never got the chance. Two of her siblings spoke for nearly half an hour, they had planned it ahead of time unbeknownst to her immediate family. I found out afterward that the pastor did was ask my grandfather, my grandmas husband, if he had any words to say prior to the service. After her siblings spoke, there was no opportunity for the rest of us to speak, her children, her best childhood friends…then the pastor proceeded to speak about converting our lives to Jesus for approximately 20 minutes, nothing about my grandma. Granted we were at a church, but her service and our opportunity to mourn her was rushed for their own agenda. Save that for church. So, I asked one of the siblings who spoke why the opportunity was never offered and his response was “there was a strict time limit”. So, part of me is angry at them. But part of me is angry at the church, for lack of communication and their selfishness. I’ll never get that opportunity back, so if you’re thinking about having a service there, maybe think twice.

We came for the baby dedication for our sweet girl. Mistee made the process so easy and stress free. She was so helpful and friendly. Everyone was nice and the building was beautiful
