The Kern County Mission has always helped me since I was 22 years old. They have always gave me good food and a clean bed to sleep in. I have volunteered on thanksgiving and they fed me good.

It really sounds like this place is in violation of the separation of church and state. State tax dollars shouldn't be funding anything religious based, and this homeless center is relgious based.

The Mission of Kern County is a homeless shelter. This shelter give you a place to live when you don't have a place to live. Under the Mission rules do you have to live, and as long as you follow the rules you will be able to get yourself together. They provide you a with a bed and gives you a way to shower. The Mission will feed you three times a day. The Mission will help you with social services for your personal business that will help you find another place to live, and under certain conditions will they provide you with the transportation to meet your appointments. They have a television room that people watch TV show in. The Mission has security for any situation that may occur.
