The Kern County Mission has always helped me since I was 22 years old. They have always gave me good food and a clean bed to sleep in. I have volunteered on thanksgiving and they fed me good.

It really sounds like this place is in violation of the separation of church and state. State tax dollars shouldn't be funding anything religious based, and this homeless center is relgious based.

The Mission of Kern County is a homeless shelter. This shelter give you a place to live when you don't have a place to live. Under the Mission rules do you have to live, and as long as you follow the rules you will be able to get yourself together. They provide you a with a bed and gives you a way to shower. The Mission will feed you three times a day. The Mission will help you with social services for your personal business that will help you find another place to live, and under certain conditions will they provide you with the transportation to meet your appointments. They have a television room that people watch TV show in. The Mission has security for any situation that may occur. Like I said, you must remember to follow the rules here, or they will throw you out. If you need help try contacting the Mission of Kern County to see if you could receive help.

Please do not give these people money. Corporate and taxes pay their bills. Anything you give them will be funneled off as fund raising expenses and BS services. Likely doing a marketing push right now, evil is all up in that place

The people that are In charge of running this place like Scott and Debbie are nothing but crooks who take advantage off their position. These are some very sick indeveduals who I think believe this is Germany. I'm grateful for those who donate and make things happen but those who run this this mission need to get replace..
