I feel I need to share my experience. I came into the Lovelady center in March of 2019 and graduated in Dec. 2019. This has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I came in scared, lost, broken, homeless, far from my home town, not knowing anyone at all, I had suicidal thoughts prior to entering the program. But GOD… By the end of the week I realized very quickly this was no ordinary program. This was an army of women rising up, growing into the women God has called us to be. Being fully equipped with all the tools we need to take everything back the enemy had stolen from us while in addiction. From the classes, counseling, mentors/leaders in job readiness program, church services, devotions, I could go on and on with how this place has equipped me to be a strong, confident, dependable, productive member of society. I have a great relationship with my kids and family, I have a car, my own apartment and today I’m blessed with a job, to be able to pull others out of the darkness I was once in. I’m so grateful to the Lovelady center. If you want to change you can and you can have it and take it all back from the enemy. This place will absolutely help you in more ways than you can ever imagine. The only thing I regret is not finding this amazing place sooner. If you’re a woman and need help, give them a call. You will not regret it. Take your life back! You’re worth it. God bless this place and precious Mrs. Melinda and the staff. You all are amazing.

I went to a Bible study with them. Let me tell you it was nothing like a Bible study. I was expecting a circle of like 5-10 people. I was totally wrong. There was a whole room of people. It was so incredible. There's really no words to describe that "Bible Study". It was so cool to see how everyone supporting each other. I wish I could tell each and everyone of those women that they are strong and they are worth it. I definitely recommend this place to go to one of their Bible Studies. Such a warm and cool experience.

I spent almost 25 years of my life in addiction. I was most certainly lost in the darkness. I had nothing, no home, car, food, identification, family and most of all, I had no hope. I remember my aunt picking me up from jail one of the multiple times asking me why I didn't consider a program. I was 38 y/o and had never considered the possibility that my life could truly be transformed. My response to her was "it's too late for that, I'm too far gone & I've done way too much damage to repair". I made that comment not knowing the love, faithfulness or magnitude of who God is. The thought of trying life a different way sparked a desire for change and I asked for help. My aunt took me to The Lovelady Center in March of that year and my life has never been the same. I entered the program hopeless and alone with nothing to my name. A mother who hadn't spoken to her children in years. I left that program Mary German, a mom of 3, proud of who God was showing me I truly was, a functioning member of society, A licensed driver with a SS card and birth certificate, a dependable employee, a woman with hope beyond measure, shining a light that only Christ can provide. My hope in writing this is that anyone reading it realizes IT'S NEVER TOO LATE, YOU'RE NEVER TOO FAR GONE & NO DAMAGE IS TOO MUCH FOR GOD TO REPAIR!! The Lovelady Center provides the love and the tools to reach up from rock bottom, leave the darkness and step into the light!! Thank you with all my heart for everything that The center is and does!!
