I would have to say the staff are very very nice I think they are extremely helpful some people just have higher expectations.I think the gateway center is a place like a resource center that is there to provide you with community resources and they do assist with certain things like housing but I think that people think of them as a long term solution when thar is not what they are here for they basically are here to assist people with resources for long term and they help with what they are able to for like that emergency situation to assist that individual with a plan to be safe and they help with outside resources for the long journey the funding is used the way it's supposed to be used I think other programs and advocates need to explain the gateway center in the right way and stop promising the clients services that they believe the gateway center can provide so I will say this advocates know your programs and what they are able to assist with because advocates usually know what programs assist with what so don't rate the gateway center with bad reviews because the staff are very kind and they do get busy sometimes there is no reason to cut a program down learn your job and know what programs provide what services..I was there today
