Their paralegal called me back to back throughout the evening when I wasn't in the position to take a call. Had the audacity to call me at 12:08 am . When I finally spoke to her at a reasonable hour the paralegal could not spell common words and did not understand what an independent contractor was then claimed to be doing this job for 40 years. Spent more time arguing with the lady than anything and eventually told her nevermind. How can you submit legal documents if you can not spell words correctly. I'm better off dealing with my legal matters on my own. Google searches were more informative and helpful

Intake specialist specializes in finding any excuse not to help people. I am a Louisiana resident interning in Georgia for a month and this was enough reason to disqualify me for legal aid. Would not even allow me to explain my situation without cutting me off. Luckily I was able to explain my case to other great lawyers in Louisiana. I was shown so much compassion from my current attorney, didn’t charge a thing and resolved my issue with a few phone calls. Don’t allow the rejection from these people to stop you from pursuing legal aid from other places. There are resources available for you in other places if you can’t afford representation. Compassion and Empathy can go a long way, and should be the basis for this type of representation. Unfortunately, Southeast Louisiana Legal views free legal aid as a an excuse to provide subpar results for people at risk. If any results at all..

Cause of them not doing they jobs in time i lost my niece to the SYSTEM after going to them since August of 2022 to get help but a week ago they took her from me and now they want to send me all these Apologies after the damage is done. Then i asked them for a log in sheet to show the courts that i tried to get legal help an that i did not kidnap my niece and they can't even much do that for me considering its their fault.

Definitely recommened OF YOU NEED THEM when you least expect it!!! They reached out to me due to false allegations made from my former apartment complex; NOLA Apartments, I rented from and made the whole process quite easy!!!! I seldom have spare time, so they stepped in when I couldn't. They listened to me, heard my complaints, and not only helped me with the current situation I was in with NOLA Apartments but also with another situation I was facing and so desparately needed help with!!! I will definitely be giving a review for NOLA Apartment's in the near future and won't be giving many stars! I wish there were options for -Stars bc they would be ones that DESERVE such rating!!!!
