I stopped going there 2-3 years ago now. They hired a female psychiatrist (likely from India, and I only, VERY reluctantly, mention that because it will make it easier for others to identify this person) that called another provider to "tattle" on my medication taking behavior. That's how my decade long primary care provider described it to me. This was a new psychiatrist to me and to Southeast HSS. She had met with me twice and went to my primary care without talking with me 1st to clarify her concern. This was not in any way a dangerous, critical, or time sensitive issue. There were also 2 other significant inappropriate comments and boundary issues involved. I'd been at Southeast receiving services for over 12 years. The was NOT out of necessity. There wasn't any danger to myself or others, nor did it remotely involve a mandated report. Going to SEHSS was not my only mental health needs option. Initially it was, however I came to have beneficial relationships with counseling, psychiatric and case management providers. When I confronted her behavior at our 3rd visit, she actually seemed amused. I really hope that since my experience that she has been better instructed in patient care, developing and maintaining trust with her patients, deciding the importance of when, and when not to make calls to other providers, and work towards her own healing of her power and control issues. Very few patients at SE have the resources, strength and understanding of boundaries to recognize the scope of her inappropriatness.

Nothing but love for these folks they have done nothing but good for me. Every time I leave I feel like I've been touched by an angel. Beautiful people ❤️

I have been seeing south east since 5 years old over the last five years after a breach of ethics and HIPAA laws as well as they carry unprofessional bias's I've been treated absolutely horribly for the last four years here but I know no other options not to mention they share your info illegally and influence other agencies and vice versa used to have a hope but it's lost only reason I'm still here is I feel it necessary to draw a light to the injustice these other reviews do not lie about to many abuse their power in administration and when it comes to the lead doctor Mrs espres. She will use and wield her influence to have staff try and cause you mental harm rather than help based off what a patient may have told her there is severe corruption consistently going on in this place felt the need to add the truth along with these toehr folks who've received similar and consistent behaviors and actions from southeast. It's so supposed to be a place to go and get help yet if they dislike you they'll try to mentally hurt you through sensitive information you've shared with them.
