Denise has cost me my restraining order I’m a cancer patient and couldn’t make my continued case and I reached out multiple times to court and this place and they never did their job and in fact hung up on me because I was upset that no one bothered to even call me.. so they are not going to help you my advice to you in seek help outside of Trumbull county because if I do get hurt it’s this place’s fault

I couldn’t even bare staying here a month. The difficulties and anxiety I experienced here was insane! The director and staff treat you like you are a liar and child, constantly degrade you then act like they aren’t against you and will lie to cover their own butt. The director is nosey and asked about my personal life and had the nerve to say I probably lied to get in there, made assumptions about me, constantly interrupted me and talked over me, and outright asked about my own mental illnesses I suffer from (then lied about it when she was in front of her boss) on top of holding over my head after every encounter that if she “wanted to kick me out she would have by now,” the final straw and cherry on top for me was her telling me one thing then because her staff was too lazy to notify her she flipped the script about my animals having to be with me whenever I left the shelter and I was accused of mistreating them and she threatened to take them out! I’ve had my animals since they were very young. They were and are my main priority. She is unhinged and needs to take her own accountability for her bs. Plus they have a roach and beetle issue, one working dryer and the staff play favorites with the women who live there, the women who lived with me were two face and the first night I got there one of them was already stirring the pot and continued until her last 2 days there. The ONLY good person who worked there is Shannon. She has a heart of gold and deserves more than she endured and I love her and was an angel and the only person who took me serious and with respect and like an actual human being. Also, you’re welcome for the free TV and anything else I had to leave behind and hearing me howl in agony and pain as I dropped and broke a $440 automatic litter box down the stairs and NOBODY came to my aid. Absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend this place to anyone I actually care about EVER. Worst shelter I’ve been in, and that says something because I’ve had worse but this was horrible.

Made a very large clothing donation to these battered Woman who have to hide from their husband's and boyfriends. I know that all my good stylish clothing, scarves and jewelry accessories will be worn and appreciated. These woman are all in need of jobs and when they have job interviews they need to be dressed in career clothing. I do my best in supplying that for them. And hopefully they have a better life once they're back out into the World.
