It's been 13.5 years now. I wouldn't be where I am now today if I had not found them.

Not a Very good program. They dont have a place for you to go afterwards .often the programs they have lined up have long waiting lists. If they put you out you’re given one day to leave police are also called. even though the policy is three write ups they can put you out just because they want to. Often forcing religion on poor people who just need a safe place to lay their head. So many rules in place you cant really get a job around them. Even if you get a job do the unnecessary hour by hour they make you do if you’re not happy about it they will say they don't think you want to be there and put you out pregnant on your butt in whatever city they shipped you off to. Not of god!!!

I lived with cockroach’s and trap houses my whole life. I found myself pregnant, homeless, sleeping in my car at the skyway bridge. My only hope came in a glass pipe. SOLVE CHANGED the trajectory of my life. Not only did I learn how to cook for myself and my family. I learned how to clean for myself. I learned how to mother my children. I came home to a supportive and loving household. I was a fresh mom to a new born baby girl and SOLVE was there. Not my family. I came HOME to solve. I raised my baby in solve. The house mothers treated me like a child. What an amazing opportunity that was for me because I had no mother. I still call my house mom to this day. The ladies in the office, my case manager. All of it was a REFRESHING experience because I busted my butt and I found Jesus. I took the lessons that were being taught to me and I applied them to my life. I didn’t run or shy away from the authority. I welcomed it. Because clearly the way I was doing things before SOLVE wasn’t working. Now I’m a MOTHER of 2. I graduated the program. I have a 3 bedroom house and a stable career. All because SOLVE invested in me.
