Hello. I thought first mass was at 8 a.m., this morning-not until 9. It's okay, happy that I can attend mass.

It was my nephew’s baptism ! Very nice and cozy! The priest was good and everything went well!! It is now known as Saint John Paul ll Catholic Church.

Went there for the Valentine's Day dance. The event was $30 per person-- which came with a meal and four hours of great live music! The band, "Tejas", played a great mix of oldies, Tejano, Mexican, and even some 80's and Disco. Great Party!!

The annual event Option for the poor, was a success. This great group of individuals have helped each other show the face of Jesus to many people in our area... From homeless, immigrants, birth to 99.... Theres a group here willing to pull together and show love, compasion and mercy.... To anyone who needs it. I love serving along side such fine people.

We've been going to Santa Lucia for approximately 39 years - - never any problems! It is a small community, very loving and caring. The 11 AM choir is the best and from what I have seen the confirmation kids are fine - - they are kids who are alive and well but they go to mass and are respectful.
