The mission of Sanctuary, Inc. is to provide victims of domestic violence with safe temporary shelter, support, education, advocacy, and outreach services; to promote public awareness, research, and training about family violence and abuse; to seek public assistance in preventing family violence and in protecting women, children, and men from abuse in their homes and relationships; and to encourage a collective public effort to eliminate domestic violence and abuse from the community.
