CVS donated 26 pallets of hand sanitizer, trucked in from California. 2 boxes looked like a rat or mouse was chewed on. Food bank refused the whole load. The free sanitizer could have been of unloaded and unpacked outside of the building. But, no. Ungrateful.

Well I've never been there, was informed I could go there to get assistance with filling out paperwork for my elderly Mother! I was lacking some important paper work, She just entered information I had! I have got to say she brought my anxiety way down, understanding, communicative, and such a great help. Felt like a human and not just a number. Also filled out a survey regarding ones self image, or how you perceive your body or face looks to others and if it effects the way you live your life and other misc questions regarding how anxiety, stress, depression, self image effect ones behaviour towards all others. After finishing and submitting I was awarded with a HEB gift card with $8.00 on it! Didn't cost me anything to cooperate with the college students presenting the questionnaire. All in all an awesome experience. Largest Food Bank Building I've ever seen!

(04-09-2022) The Food Bank. My family and I volunteered wrapping tops of shoe boxes. In the boxes were hygiene products. It felt good donating our time for a good cause.

Took my 9 year old granddaughter Isabella. Bella loved her 4 hour volunteer time among getting to make new friends and with her favorites farm animals.

We (my wife and kids) just came to help out and volunteer.
Nothing but.
We enjoyed our time and have done so on numerous occasions.
We will return to do our part for the community again.
