Salvation Army – Anchorage Clitheroe Center

My son stayed there a few years ago and it was the worst experience of his life. He felt unsafe there the whole time he was there. He was not released from prison to go there. He went voluntarily thinking it would help him overcome his drug addiction. I will not share the horrible experiences he had there because some of them are downright disgusting and were allowed to happen. I will say, if you or a loved one is serious about breaking a drug addiction, do NOT go there!

I don't get this place I take my wife here for something that happened 3 years ago we wait almost 20 minutes hollering for people just to be told wrong building then we go to another building wait another 30 minutes and be told oh no it's the building that we originally were in if these people can't get their heads on straight why even come here very unprofessional

Counselors and staff are considerate and understanding. This place is truly a God send and has saved many lives. A great place for anyone who is ready for sobriety, recovery, and willing to change.
