My experience was everything I couldn’t imagine any more from the staff to the support group to the team. Ms. Lishauna and Holly were especially supportive and informative to all my needs. My expectations were way to low I totally got way more than what I expected not just for the time spent there but as I left for my future as well. I’d recommend Safe space to anyone. Also if you get a chance to meet Ms. Ibeth you will be truly blessed she is the backbone of Safe Space and her rooted empathy is why I will always remember what she stands for. I appreciate every learning opportunity that was given.

Please ladies, if you need help, look no further. Safe Space really lives up to its name. This is somewhere I felt secure and stable after an experience that somewhat traumatized me. They took me in after experiencing DV and a category 5 hurricane. I was able to get back up on my feet and felt supported from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. A huge thanks to Natalie, Ibeth, Holly, Leshawna, Tammy, and all the staff involved in the organization. These ladies are incredible and the true back bones of women experiencing DV in our society. I couldn’t have done it without them.
