I am forever grateful for the support and assistance this organization provided during one of the most difficult times in my life. My daughter and I were able to safely leave a very toxic relationship and begin rebuilding our lives. The staff treated us with kindness, compassion, and respect every step of the way. They connected me with valuable resources and support services that helped us move forward with hope and stability. I will always be thankful for the difference they made in our lives.

No outside food allowed in the house and the food provided is expired. Not by days, 3-4 Months often. Was given a blank exit date sheet and told to sign, hadn’t even discussed a safety plan or much of anything at all really. The person in charge said more than once if we had “any concerns” with how her house was ran we were “more than welcome to go back to where ever” we had came from. Imagine saying that to women escaping DV? People from the state will come for classes, she’ll tell you to smile and tell you that its moreover in your best interest to smile and interact… honestly implying that maybe you won’t get surprise exited that day or the next. They exit women with or without kids with no notice, and do not fill the room. Have staff clean multiple rooms each day and answer calls from women and tell them they have no rooms available. So much can be said of this space, I hope it is investigated by the state of North Carolina one day. Traumatic inhumane treatment inside of that house! God sees all, even if you are never caught by Man.
