Don’t come here if you’re actually looking for a safe space, the women staff start problems and if you don’t give into there power trip then they call cys and try to get your kids taken away

I was desperate for help, was attacked twice and a third time a woman put a gun to my head which escaped without charges when I identified her and the weapon. Needless to say I was unable to make it to the court house to get a pfa on this woman that's been terrorizing me for past 4 years due to seizures granted I'm a multiple traumatic brain injury survivor. They helped me get a pfa just to have them abandon me and stonewalling me since then. Don't help someone get a pfa If u last minute decide to not represent them. Literally useless. Discrimination, unprofessional at best. Should rethink their careers or is it just a front fpr something else my opinion worthless it's been over a year and still no hearing made for me while she has violation and still stalking me berks county is pathetic no justice it's all corrupted

I love this place. It not only provides shelter to victims of domestic violence, but it also offers support groups, legal support, resource coordination, counseling and much more. They empower all those struggling and guide them to find a way out of pain to independence. I so grateful to Maria and to all the team who go the extra mile to assist the served population.
