Ruby's Place

Rubys Place has changed my life. I can’t thank the caring staff enough for all of their help. They were able to assist me in housing, and have other resources that are so helpful. Because of them I am able to move forward in life, they truly care.

I called Ruby's Place, and the young woman that answered the phone was extremely rude, her name is Mikaya. She had the worst attitude and was not helpful at all. I was trying to help give back by dropping off donations but she told me they're no longer taking donations. I don't understand why they would even have such an unprofessional rude individual answer the phones. She had horrible communication skills, she was NOT kind at all.

I have not had experience staying in the shelter, but I received trauma therapy through Rubys place. My therapist is helping me rebuild my self esteem and my faith that there are good people in the world. I can tell he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his clients. Thank you Rubys Place for providing meaningful counseling services the the community!
