I recently had the pleasure of photographing an event at The Room at the Inn, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff was fantastic—so professional, kind, and easy to work with. The space itself was perfect for the occasion, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. What truly stands out, though, is their mission and the heart behind what they do. It’s inspiring to see such dedication to making a positive impact in the community. I highly recommend The Room at the Inn if you find yourself in need.

This place kicked me out years ago when I was a pregnant teen who came to NC from out of state. I was new and being bullied by some of the current residents. I did inform staff of what was going on but nothing was done about it. However, I finally got tired of being picked on and stood up for myself by telling one girl in particular to leave me alone. The President Albert Hodges did not want to hear my side of story. He automatically sided with the bully and her friends because he knew them longer. He said to me “PACK ALL YOUR THINGS AND GET OUT!” Don’t let this place discourage you. I am now fully grown, highly educated, employed, and my child is the happiest kid ever. I am a success story WITHOUT THEM. This place seemed a little racist to me by the way, if you’re black just know that they really don’t want you there anyway!
