Great work these ppl do

I struggled with this rating and still do to this day. They kept me safe for a whole month, then kicked me out when they thought I no longer needed it, and had nowhere to go in an ice storm. Today, I've gained a bachelor's degree in behavioral health, with an emphasis on Trauma. I'm telling you this, because for my capstone, I chose to research this organization while coming up with my own organization for my final project. I basically did the opposite of what I remember being done for my project. I got 100 percent on my capstone and have been told by many people I'm "going places." Yet, this domestic violence shelter, instead of helping me, didn't even give me a fighting chance. A traumatized girl that needed safety, direction, and some compassion in general. Big fail guys. Big fail.

Horrible place, not just a women's shelter they let men there to make the women uncomfortable...very rude people

Wouldn't take a friend due to violence not from intimate partner just her family member. Ugh
