QH was there to support me, mentally. I didn't NEED somewhere to go. I needed support from people that understand. I didn't realize this until I decided to leave, or else I would have just seen a therapist and got a hotel. But nonetheless, the ladies here were my saving grace and I'll never forget them.

Please don’t waste your time! These people are fraud. The case workers do nothing but sit around, smoke cigarettes, & feed stray cats all day. They give you referrals to misleading information. They don’t have housing assistance. They open their office door for you when they feel like it. Please have a car they aren’t reliable with transportation. After 6 weeks you’ll be put out no exceptions. I witnessed them terminate a mother of 2 children leaving them homeless. They’ll try to accuse you for damages they already had so take pics of everything.

Only helps victims they deem worthy. First, they turned me down for assistance filing an injunction because the person who abused me and my child apparently used them to file an injunction against someone else. Then they told me to contact their shelter for assistance since I had no where to go with my 3 year old child.
I contact the shelter, they tell me they can’t help me because my toddler was the one abused with a black eye and since it wasn’t her relationship it doesn’t count ??? Apparently that’s not bad enough for Quigley house to care. They used to be open to all women of any type of DV but for some reason decided victims of family violence weren’t worth it. When I was a victim of DV and SA though they didn’t want to help either. Their victims advocates never reached back out to me. Told me maybe I could get counseling as if not being HOMELESS WITH A CHILD isn’t my priority.
