jessica G rated 1 3 months ago They seem really nice and they seem like they do care and that they are trying to help however anything that they have tried to help me with has not worked. I'm still home stuck in the same situation that I have been and I'm still with my abuser and see no way out. I want this stated publicly that if anything happens to me, if i end up dead or missing....I DID NOT KILL MYSELF. |
Lisa Morris rated 5 11 months ago 2015 I needed help to get out of my current domestic situation. I am a single mother of at the time 4 small children. My mother found Project woman by googling for help for me. I called and they were full. I called 2 days later and they put me up in a hotel for 2 days then to the shelter. The shelter is very safe and clean. The staff was always there to lend an ear or to help in any way they could. When I went to Chrysalis I stayed to myself... took care of my little ones and worked. There was drama with some of the women but I kept focus on the end goal. I feel blessed to have been helped by Project Woman. Miss Brenda, Hope, Nashay, Crystal & I know there are others but don't remember the names. I thank you for everything you have helped my family with. When I thought I couldn't get out of the bad dream I was living your door opened and offered me a Better way of life. I can never thank you enough. We continued on a better path from then on out. My kids are almost all grown now. If you need help and want to change paths in your life I would recommend calling Project Woman. |

BboppinBizTV rated 1 5 years ago I was mislead. They told me they would put me in a hotel for my safety confirmed by the supervisor that I just had to come in and fill out paperwork. When I went I filled paperwork while I was there I was told I was approved and I would be set up in a hotel because I feared for my safety after I met with the advocate. The advocate then told me I was given the wrong information and all domestic violence shelters in Ohio where full and they would not be putting me in a hotel. She called the Supervisor and she said she confirmed they would not be helping me. With already having trust issues because of the domestic violence this certainly did not help. I felt lied to and I was very disappointed. Now they have put me and my children in an unsafe situation. It definitely was a waist of my gas to drive 30 minutes to this place that lied to me. |
