For those of you who are following what I post.you should already know that I'm going to try to find resources in the area also Incase you are in need of help or just want to start over being have said that upon arrival you'll be met by a case manager. in which case you will be taking a u.a. you need to be already clean. yep ,and that means weed included and if you take anything prescribed you need to be ready to show proof then let's say you do pass the test. you need to hope there's availability . so if I were you I would call ahead of time, to see what it looks like and maybe work something out, where they hold a bed. now check this out, it's a shelter and you're coming from the streets. What I am saying is that, I believe they will work with you on the first week or two .this is only for those of you who do not have money ..because there is a 55.00 a week fee. I just called to confirm this,so they may just let you ride for the first week or two but you will be needing to prove you're actively looking for a job. the lady on the phone said something about 60 days.I don't know what she meant by that ,she didn't clarify .when I went there earlier the male employee didn't mention anything about 60 days. so be prepared to ask. if you don't already know there is a curfew. he said it's at 8:00 p.m. but if you're late once. you automatically get kicked out. so you need to be on your p's and q's .he said that clients usually stay about 6 months but the shelter tries to get you out in 3. that's really good. they also pay your house rent and utilities .I believe for the first 6 months .dang, that's love.if both rent and utility for sure. no ,I just checked and yes it's utilities also. dang, imagine that I asked him about the jobs he said those that already have jobs try to get them jobs with them ,where they're working .if not they do have a computer room to help you build a resume or find work. I was trying to film inside to see what it was like but that was not permitted .so as far as the establishment went from what I saw, they ain't letting nothing happen.in whatever the cause may be. security is tight. I only took five paces in and was met by a man in a prison-style Picket, the new kind .I did take a look around and the place was very clean but like I said it's on lock. but look at everything they're willing to do for you . I want a personaly thank Mr. Tony mickens for answering all my questions and answering them with firm responses. and also to the lady I spoke to over the phone. one last thing you must be staying in the Brazos area. And if you need to ask me about this town?? there's nothing but really good people here. And from what I saw there's plenty of work cuz their signs everywhere and check this out it's a flyer for some apartments. two bedroom apartment..this is one of only two resources in town and I also talked to the other and they answered that they were limited and always remember to ask about any other resource information available for the Brazos county area

I stayed here by like three or four times growing up every time we came here they were loving people. They made sure we had everything if you didn’t have clothes, hygiene products they will give them to you and the food was always amazing. I remember one time we had football players come eat with us and talk to us. It was so nice. You didn’t even have to stay up there. Sometimes they will have days where you can come up there and just eat But when I did stay up there, we had good meals. They didn’t just throw our food together. they actually cared we had meals like we were in our own household and they made sure you ate for breakfast lunch and dinner if anything was to happen to me in life I know this is the first place I will come to for help so if you know anybody that needs help, please tell them where this place is and it’s located in a good nice private spot

Heads up they make you pay for shelter and tell u after the fact of letting u stay
