I spent the first six months of my son's life as a stay-at-home mom. When the time came for me to return to school, I felt anxious about leaving him. Finding a place that felt like home, with people who genuinely cared about the children, was important to me. After visiting PICA Head Start and meeting Theresa and Isabella, his teachers, I knew it was the right place for us. The transition has been unbelievably smooth. Every morning, my son is welcomed with big smiles and hugs. He absolutely loves going to 'school,' and it has been a joy to watch him learn and grow here over the past few months.

This is place does not have it together at all. They completely gave me the run around when I enrolled my son here for 2023-2024 school year. Right when school started I had to unenroll him because I was scared to leave him in their care. It's sad that this is the type of stuff that low income families are forced to put up. Do better Head Start!!! This location is a joke!
