The Oroville Resource Center and Rescue Mission is here to end homelessness one man, one woman, and one family at a time. If you have goals, we will help you achieve them. If you want prayer, we're equipped to pray with you. If you need food, want assistance with recovery or if you just want someone to listen, we are here to help. If you would like to access a service that we do not provide, we will connect you to the provider and help get you to your appointment. If you need shelter, we have options. If you're ready to obtain housing, we can help.

Could it be a zero, it would be. Due to unforseen and unfortunate circumstances, I find myself a 54yr old single female with a small dog. I am disabled and have a tough time breathing. I had no where to go ,no money, and no family. Friends took me to this place. Before I even make it inside, I was turned away. No emergency shelter space. They are all full. A rescue mission, turned me away. I don't look unhoused. I don't have any addictions. I don't know anything about living on the streets. I didnt think a faith based ministry that receives federal dollars would flat out turn me away. Heck, no bed? OK, stick me in the hall. I don't care. Anything beats being put out in the streets, cold. I pray to no fall prey to being raped, assaulted, or ran over in the dark. So much for the rescue. Maybe I should have a very asked for prayers instead? OH wait, maybe they ran out of those too. What God do they serve? I'm just asking so I can avoid him.

Why don't you update your phone number? Good grief. No, the phone number given for this facility online is out of service.
