They care more about a social agenda than helping victims. If you are a female who has been assaulted by a male looking for support, do not go here. They will turn you into the perpetrator and make you feel victimized all over again.

The staff and the therapist do not have the best interest of the client. I admit I have a more difficult case than most people. I was incredibly honest about this with both the staff and the therapist. Instead of being respectful of my vulnerability and caring and accommodating of my needs, which they were made aware of and agreed to, the therapists repeatedly quit and then the organization kicked me out. The first therapist said she could see me after her supervisor approved. Then she quit after not responding to me for a little while on text, because my needs were too difficult for her. She didn’t even tell the organization. I had to reach out to them and they found me another person. I was very upfront with the staff because I didn’t want to go through this again. And I was the same with the therapist. The second therapist was over confident in herself and said that she would never quit on me, that I didn’t have anything to worry about, that she’s better than most therapists, that my previous therapist did the wrong things, she only knows about 3 good ones, etc. Then she ended up doing the exact same thing as the first one. Claiming that I needed too much help that she couldn’t give and that my needs were more than what she thought. She was regularly late and forgot my last appointment until I messaged her. She then spent an hour confusing the heck out of me going back and forth about that we can’t work together and then saying we could and then that she didn’t know where we stood. I was so lost at the the end. I was under the impression from her that we were going to talk again to figure things out and make a decision how to move forward. Instead, I get an email from the organization saying I can no longer be seen there. The therapist had told them lies about me. Instead of contacting me to get my side, they just kicked me out. Why wouldn’t they just contact me to clarify what happened and then find me someone new? I tried to say this in a reply to them but it was blocked. And they didn’t respond to calls or text. For an organization that deals with incredibly serious issues and claims to help and support those, they all treated me badly. I’m incredibly upset, mind blown, and disgusted by their treatment of someone that they know is having an extremely difficult time. I don’t recommend them at all. Definitely try to find a better program to help you!
