Incredible center that is wholly devoted to helping families thrive both during and after pregnancy. They are very clear about the options they offer concerning avenues for pregnant women (as they openly acknowledge that they do not provide abortions), and have an unbelievable amount of programs and resources to help a pregnancy develop into a healthy family. Their "earn while you learn" initiative, in particular, reflects their unchanged dedication both during and following a pregnancy. They are truly an advocate for women and their families, and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

The Northfield Women’s Center is a free (100% free!) resource to women. The Northfield Women’s Center is clear about what services they do and do not offer. On their website, they clearly say that they offer: pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and STD testing AND treatment. Ultrasounds are important in order to gain accurate information about the pregnancy such as viability, gestational age, whether or not it is ectopic, etc. The website says “During your appointment, we will discuss parenting, abortion and adoption, while also discussing your concerns and answering any questions you may have about your next steps. We are here to empower you to make an informed decision regarding your pregnancy.” While it is true that they do not offer abortion, which is clear from their website, they do not coerce a women into any decision. They truly want the woman to be able to make an informed decision.

I'm a student in the Northfield area and have done some research into the Northfield Women's Center. It's goal is truly to empower women with knowledge and professional medical services. Although they do not provide abortions there, they provide information for women on all their options from abortion to adoption to parenting. Furthermore, they are staffed by a licensed medical sonographer, a doctor specializing in high risk pregnancies, and a registered nurse. I would highly recommend this facility for all women seeking help and compassion in difficult times.

The Northfield Women's Center is a fantastic resource for women in the Northfield area. They provide free pregnancy testing, STD testing, ultra-sounds, pregnancy and parenting classes, life coaching, and partner with many other community organizations to empower women who choose to continue with an unplanned pregnancy. The medical services they offer are licensed under a CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment) Waiver given by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. All clients at the Northfield Women’s Center must sign a Request for Services Form prior to receiving any test, counseling, or other services. The form ensures that every client is fully informed about the actual services, resources, and referrals offered by the Northfield Women's Center, including that the center does not provide abortions. By signing the form, a client certifies that they know what services the center does and does not provide. I am extremely disheartened by the number of false reviews pushing personal political agendas that are appearing here. The Northfield Women's Center provides medically accurate information to women who freely choose to accept their services after understanding what services the Northfield Women's Center does and does not provide.

The Northfield Women's Center provides useful services for people who choose to carry a pregnancy to term and for new parents, and provides STD testing. However, it should not be confused with the Northfield Women's Health Center, because it is not a medical institution and it does not provide accurate information about the full range of options for a woman with an unwanted pregnancy. They intentionally provide false and misleading information about the safety and efficacy of abortion and birth control specifically, and they do not offer Plan B. If you are seeking information about any of these options, Northfield Women's Center is not the place to go.
