If you're in a DV situation DO NOT waste your time with Northeast GA Council on Domestic Violence They have done worse than nothing to help my friends. She called the "crisis line" for help during a violent incident and they suggested she take the kids and sleep in her car. They told her she's lucky to have a car and the people who don't are a priority over her. They told her they have no place for her to go with her kids, and then threatened to call DFCS. This place will do the opposite of help.
