I have so much I can share about this "Christian organization" so if you are interested in finding out the truth about this place and I have the emails and texts to back it up find me on fb and I'll be more than happy to fill you in. Not many Stacy yates that live in melbourne. But for now all I'm gonna say is I felt like I was in a cult and they prayed to God to break me down so they could rebuild me. No God can build me up from where I am I don't need you to break me down more than you already have.

They take absued and controlled women out of a toxic situation and then take advantage of their weakneeses. They threaten your place of living on a regular basis knowing the women will cower and keep quiet. They evicted a young woman three weeks before she gave birth knowing she has no help. They did not assist her in finding alternative housing. They also constantly lie about their "90% graduation" success rate. Not impressed with where donors are putting their money in our community.

Wow. I hated reading the bad, past reviews because it is the opposite of everything I have experienced of New Life. Every person I have met at New Life is so kind and caring. You can tell the people working there want the best for the women and their children. They are working/volunteering there because they WANT to be. That being said this results in beautiful people helping out where they can. I absolutely love the concept of this organization and think they do a phenomenal job of running the place. I volunteer in the kids club and absolutely love it 😊

My entire outlook on life has been completely transformed thanks to this wonderful program. I have received the life skill teachings that I have lost along the way to progress and build a Christ centered, positive, self-sufficient life for my children and I. The staff are totally devoted to transforming our lives WITH OUR EFFORTS. This program teaches responsibility and accountability and the love of Jesus. I have seen many women graduate with 100% continued success.

This place claims to be a "Christian" run facility specifically aimed at helping mother who for a variety of reasons need help. Yet this "Christian" run facility will not hesitate to kick out a single mother, who is dealing with a nasty divorce (that the facility funnily enough said they would do anything they could to help her with) for the most ridiculous and made up reasons. Even if you adhere to their rules and program it seems if they don't like your personality, or the way you carry yourself, they will find a way somehow to fabricate a reason to kick you out. They did all of this to a very close friend of mine, and it's absolutely sickening. I can't fathom how a facility that claims to run things according to the tenets of Christ would kick someone in need of help, who again was adhering to the rules of the facility, right to the curb. That's not the "Christian" thing to do yet they had no problem doing just that. It's absolutely sickening. To any future potential residents reading this review, please tread carefully. They have no problem lying to you about what they will do and how they will help you. To the facility, I truly believe in karma and reading other reviews and listening to my friends experience I truly believe that the nasty things you've done will come back around. And your Lord can't be happy with the way you run things. Again not according to his laws, but your own made up ones. Please be better.
